CLASFON officially started in 1981
Christian Lawyers’ Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) is registered under Part C (Incorporated Trustees) of the
Corporate Affairs Commission as a faith-based non-governmental organization for
Christian lawyers and Law graduates in Nigeria.
There are about 40 branches spread across the Federation. The branches are shared into 6 regions; North Central Region, North West Region, North East Region, South South Region, South East Region and South West Region for proper administrative operation and efficiency. The regions are headed by a Regional Coordinator for each. The regional coordinators are members of the National Executive Council (NEC).
To equip members spiritually and professionally to serve God and humanity in their respective legal professional capacities as judges, magistrates, advocates solicitors, legislators, teachers, administrators and law students.
